Steven TylerThe band toured Boston's club circuit , being led by Frank Connelly their first manager. The group then began to collaborate together with Steve Leber, David Krebs, New York managers. Their debut album, titled "Eponymous" and was released in the year 1973. They were signed to a record deal in the year 1972. The album was then followed by Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic and Rocks. The album brought Aerosmith international recognition and fame. These albums had famous songs like "Dream On", "Walk This Way", and "Sweet Emotion". Aerosmith's first five albums were multi-platinum. Toys in the Attic and Rocks were also multi-platinum. The decade passed however, the band's life of constant touring, recording and living together was beginning to wear their bodies. In their notorious use heroin and stimulants, Tyler and Perry were sometimes referred to as the Toxic Twins. Aerosmith Behind the Music as well as many other video releases from Aerosmith reveal their relationship. Tyler Perry, who was evidently more dedicated to the band was able to feel resentful towards Perry's passive attitude and envied Perry's priority for females in his life. The tension between Tyler, Perry, and their once-friendly girlfriends was a leading factor in the gradual decay of Aerosmith around 1980.
