Claire Elise Boucher (bu:'SeI/boo-SHAY) born March 17, 1988. She's known as Grimes. 2][3] The variety of her early music was described as "lo fi R&B" and "futuristic dance-pop". She has also incorporated elements from hip hop electronic, rock and hip hop. The lyrics of her songs often address the themes of science fiction and feminists. She's released five studio albums. Growing up in Vancouver (later relocated to Montreal), Grimes began publishing music in the late 2000s, releasing two albums, Geidi Primes and Halfaxa which were released in 2010, with Arbutus Records. She subsequently became a member of 4AD and gained notoriety when she released the third album of her studio, Visions that was released in 2012. Visions contains the singles "Genesis," and "Oblivion". The album was the recipient of the Juno Award of the Canadian Music Industry for Electronic Album of the Years. Art Angels, her fourth studio record, was released in 2015. Several publications called it the most successful album. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth album of studio work. Grimes was also an actor and judge on Alter Ego's musical competitions played a part as the vocalist as part of Cyberpunk 2077 which was released in 2020. Georges Georges Grimes
